French Bonds Stay Higher as 10-Year Sale Gets Record-Low Yields

French 10-year government bonds advanced for a third day as an auction of the securities attracted record-low yields.

The yield on the country’s 2.25 percent securities due October 2022 decreased three basis points, or 0.03 percentage point, to 1.96 percent at 10:05 a.m. London time.

France sold 2 billion euros of bonds maturing in 2022 at an average yield of 1.94 percent.
