A Neglected Horse Tries to Clear Legal Hurdles (Radio)

A horse named Justice is seeking just that in an Oregon court. The Animal Legal Defense Fund has filed a suit in Justice’s name against his former owner for neglect that has left the horse with permanent injuries and future veterinary bills. Matthew Liebman, Director of Litigation at the Animal Legal Defense Fund, explains the case which could become the first recognizing an animal as a plaintiff. He speaks with June Grasso on "Bloomberg Law."
