<p>Reuters said it tightened its photo-editing procedures after Adnan Hajj, a freelance photographer in Lebanon, used Photoshop to alter two images in 2006.</p> <p>In the first photo, the program's cloning tool was used to show a greater amount of smoke rising over Beirut after an Israeli air strike, Reuters said. Hajj "denied deliberate manipulation of the photograph," the news service stated.</p><p>In another photo, a technical analysis concluded that the same editing tool was used to increase the number of flares dropped by an Israeli F-16 fighter, Reuters said. Hajj denied altering the image.</p>
